Dental Implants At A Glance

Full mouth dental implants are the most advanced, modern option to restore the health and function of your smile and the self-confidence you may have lost to missing and failing teeth. While making a full, complete smile, dental implants only require three parts: a titanium or ceramic post, an abutment, and a restoration. These three parts pack a punch for smiling restoration, as dental implants provide jawbone support and a stable foundation for a single dental crown, a dental bridge, implant supported dentures, and even a full arch prosthesis. Dental implants provide a solid foundation by being placed into your jawbone to limit bone recession and fully support your new smile. Your daily activities, such as chewing, talking, and smiling, can be done without worry, and your facial appearance will be preserved to avoid sunken cheekbones and premature aging. Dental implants not only improve your oral health, but they also boost confidence and add a little more pep in your step!

Your Tooth Replacement Options

A unique, healthy smile goes deeper than what’s on the surface. Restoring your smile also restores your oral health so you can continue to enjoy your smile for years to come. We are proud to offer completely customizable full mouth dental implants to bring your smile back to life and restore your oral health:

Single tooth implants

If you’re missing just one tooth, we have a solution. Dr. Dodrill can replace your single missing tooth with the help of a natural looking, tooth colored dental crown that sets on a single dental implant. This single tooth implant is customized to match the surrounding teeth so no one can tell you were ever missing a tooth.

Multiple tooth implants

Missing more than one tooth? Our multiple tooth implants connect to a few strategically placed implants to support a fixed, permanent dental bridge. This dental bridge is personalized to your facial structure and skin tone and is made to match the size, shape and color of your surrounding teeth.
implant supported dentures

Implant supported dentures

With our implant supported dentures, patients can reap the benefits of a beautiful, functional smile that is implanted in the jawbone for a stable foundation so their dentures do not require adhesive to stay in place. These dentures can be removed for proper hygiene and cleaning and help to limit bone recession.
full mouth dental implants

Full mouth dental implants

The complete smile restoration you’ve been dreaming about! Our full mouth dental implants offer a brand-new smile in just one visit! Implanted in the jawbone for optimal support are four or more posts that your new teeth attach to, creating a full arch of dental implants and allowing them to look, feel and function like natural teeth.

A Personalized Treatment Process

Smile designing is what we do best, so it’s only natural to provide the highest quality care and materials for each and every treatment plan we offer. Our dental implant procedures will begin with a thorough consultation with Dr. Dodrill to discuss your dental concerns and smile goals. We will obtain x-rays and other digital imaging to determine your candidacy and perform a full examination to assess your current oral health. Next, we will discuss your treatment options and create a treatment plan and surgical guide to follow for dental implants. This surgical guide maps out your surgery before it even begins to ensure every piece of it is predictable and error-free. Next, you will undergo surgery where Dr. Dodrill will place four or six dental implants into your jawbone to limit jawbone recession and provide a stable foundation for your new teeth. Once placed, Dr. Dodrill will attach your temporary teeth so you can immediately reap the benefits of your dental implants! Over the next several months, your mouth will heal through a process called osseointegration where your dental implants will fuse with your jawbone. One complete, Dr. Dodrill will attach your final restoration so you can enjoy a lifetime full of healthy, happy, and complete smiles!

FAQ

1

Do Dental Implants Hurt?

We take great strides to ensure your dental implant procedure is comfortable and virtually painless. Upon completion of surgery, you may experience some pain and swelling immediately after. Once your dental implants have healed over the next several months, you will be able to enjoy them the way you would natural teeth.

2

How Long Does Dental Implant Surgery Take?

Even with our advanced dental technology and customized treatment plans, our dental implant
surgeries last about 2.5 hours. If you’re receiving a single dental implant, the procedure may last 1 to 2 hours.

3

How Long Does Recovery Take?

Your initial implant surgery can take about three months to heal. During that time, you could experience some pain and swelling. Once swelling has subsided, we can create your final restoration that will permanently attach to your dental implants so you can show off your smile whenever you want.
